Read John 14:15-21
“If you love me, keep my commands.” – John 14:15
It’s a word that too many throw around in modern time. I’ve misused it myself, using it to seduce girlfriends.
Love isn’t an adjective to describe a state of being. Jesus defined love as a verb.
Verbs are words that denote action. If you love someone, you must be doing something for them. Jesus said, “If you love me, keep my commands.”
Are you keeping God’s commands? I fail at it every day, but I will continue to try. I want God to know I love Him.
“Whoever has my commands and keeps them is the one who loves me. The one who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I too will love them and show myself to them.” – John:14-21
