Read Luke 15:1-7
Humans in general tend to gather near those who share their ideals. We move toward comfortable situations.
Christians can look a lot like the Pharisees and Sadducees when we shun the lost in favor of hanging out with Christian friends.
The soul of one lost person is worth more to God than 99 saved souls.
I hear Christians talk about WWJD, then make a decision to do the opposite. Those of you in school, make it a point to talk to people of ill repute, telling them of the joy Christ brings you. Those in the work force can find the partying co-worker or womanizer and share their faith.
Jesus provided comfort anywhere He went. He didn’t look for comfort, He became comfort. Perhaps we should too. I mean, what would Jesus do?
“Just so, I tell you, there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who need no repentance.” – Luke 15:7
